Censorio is committed to protecting your privacy and implementing technology that gives you a powerful and safe online experience. This Privacy and Security Policy explains what personal information we obtain from you in your use of Censorio online services, and the steps we take to secure that information. This Policy also explains how you can contact us if you have a question about our privacy practices.

By submitting personal information to us, or indicating your acceptance of legal agreements with us, or by otherwise using any Censorio service, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Policy.

If you do not agree with some or all of these terms, do not use the Website.

We recommend that you take the time to read this Policy so that you understand how we handle personal information. As we develop and expand our services, this Policy may also change. We will include a "last revised" date on the Policy as displayed on the Website. We strongly encourage you to refer back to the Policy periodically.

1. How We Collect and Use Personal Information

"Personal information" means information about you as an identifiable individual, but does not include “contact information”—namely, your business position, name or title, business address, telephone number, email and fax.

Except for certain limited purposes described below, we do not ourselves use or disclose the personal information that we obtain; we allow you to store and access your own data. We will not collect, use or disclose your personal information in a way that is incompatible with applicable legislation or this Policy.

Project-Interest Submissions

For certain projects being promoted via the Website, we may permit you to indicate your interest in such projects and to obtain further information about the project by completing a form and making a submission via the Website. In that case, we will use the information requested on the sign-up form only for the purpose of facilitating communication with you about the project in which you are interested.

Owner/Resident Submissions

For persons who are owners/residents of units in a facility we manage, you can use the Website to make a submission to us with respect to your service requests. To do so, you will need to provide your name, address, telephone number, suite number, and a description of the request. We will use this information to communicate with your respecting your request, and to deliver—or arrange for a third party to deliver—services to you. Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose.

Cookies

Additionally, when you use our Services, a cookie may be placed within the memory of your internet access device. A cookie is a small piece of information that a website can store via your internet access device for later retrieval. We may use permanent cookies or server-side artefacts to help us track use of our services by users and visitors—such as the number and frequency of visits to our pages and which parts of our website are visited.

2. Our Disclosure of Personal Information

We will not sell, license, trade or rent your personal information. Censorio may disclose personal information if a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order legally requires or authorizes us to do so.

If you are interested in a project and make an information request through the Website, we may disclose the information you supply within the Censorio corporate family to the specific entity responsible for the project, in order to communicate with you.

If you are an owner/resident of a unit in a facility we manage, we may disclose the information you supply within the Censorio corporate family to the specific entity responsible for the project—who may in turn disclose it to a third party service provider engaged to deliver the requested services to you.
Additionally, Censorio reserves the right to disclose and/or transfer personal information to a third party in the event of a proposed or actual purchase, sale, lease, merger, amalgamation or any other type of acquisition, disposal or financing of all or any portion of Censorio or of any of the business or assets or shares of Censorio, provided that the third party represents that it will continue to use the information for the purposes set out in this Policy and in accordance with applicable privacy protection laws.

3. Retention of Your Personal Information

We routinely destroy personal information that is no longer required for the purposes described herein, in accordance with applicable laws.

4. How We Protect Your Personal Information

Censorio uses reasonable and appropriate measures designed to help you secure your information against accidental or unlawful loss, access or disclosure. Only staff and service providers who have a legitimate business purpose for accessing the personal information collected by us are authorized to do so. Unauthorized use of personal information by anyone affiliated with Censorio is prohibited and constitutes grounds for disciplinary action.

5. Links to Third Party Sites

The use of our Services may lead you to third party websites. Those organizations are separate and distinct from Censorio, and have their own separate privacy policies. We are not responsible for how any third party collects, uses or discloses your personal information, so it is important to familiarize yourself with the privacy policies of these websites before providing your personal information to them.

6. Contacting Us

In the event that you have any questions about this Policy or if you have reason to believe that we may have failed to adhere to it, please contact us by sending an email to info@censorio.com.
